Training at First View Sonography is provided by Linda Gallagher. Linda graduated from the Mayo School of Health Sciences Sonography Program in July 2015. She is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with specialties in Ob/Gyn, Abdomen, and Registered Vascular Technician through ARDMS. Linda also graduated from Goucher College with a computer science degree and worked in that field until choosing to focus on raising 5 children and pursuing various volunteer opportunities.
The care and compassion of sonographers during her pregnancies, including several losses, inspired Linda to pursue a second career in sonography that would allow her to provide similar compassionate support and care to women.
After graduation from MSHS Sonography Program, Linda has worked in the radiology department of Abbott Northwestern Hospital, The Minnesota Birth Center, Amnion Pregnancy Center and Northfield Women’s Center. Interacting with Registered Nurse Sonographers and midwife sonographers who are committed to high standards and excellent patient care, motivated Linda to provide hands-on training for medical professionals that have completed the required didactic training required by AWHONN, ACOG, AIUM, and ARDMS for Advanced Practice limited OB ultrasound.
